I am very happy to meet you all once again through this colourful Festival Edition of CovaiCare Happenings 2021.

In spite of various restrictions and protocols for COVID -19 virus, Team CovaiCare has been working hard to conduct various events and festivals this year. What amazes me is the impregnable enthusiasm and spirit shown by the residents of CovaiCare by participating in these events, while adhering to basic protocols.

The integration of CovaiCare Retirement Communities with the local villagers from where we draw our staff, the mentoring of NEW YOU children by their Chief Mentor Mrs Raji Subbarayan, the active participation in various cultural and spiritual events organised by the residents and, Team CovaiCare doing its best to make every event a great success, was appreciated by the ISKCON Team from Govardhan Eco Village, Palghar during their visit to Covai s3 Retirement Community. We were fortunate to hear the talk by Shri Gauranga Das Prabhuji for the second time and are also humbled by the nice words spoken about all of us by some of the eminent members of Team ISKCON. They were very impressed by our staff, their children and the residents displaying their multiple talents during the cultural evening, echoing the theme of Vasudeva Kudumbhakam!.

On the business front , CovaiCare projects at Puducherry and Chennai have been launched. The Puducherry project is Covai Pelican Ageless Community in Pelican Belfort Township by Pelican Realty, which also houses Serene Pelican Phase 1 and 2. This apartment complex of 264 one and two BHK apartments is in the ‘Affordable Housing” Category. Covai Pelican Ageless Community is for anyone above the age of 40 years and will also cater to 20 parents with Special Needs children.

The project at Chennai is part of the 37 acre Township of Shriram Properties Ltd, named as Shriram Shankari. The retirement community project by CovaiCare in this Township is named as The Golden Cove. This retirement community project of 234 One and 2 BHK apartments (in three towers) will have exclusive Services and Care facilities. Over 1300 families are already living in Shriram Shankari. The residents of Golden Cove will also have access to the existing two club houses spreading over 30,000 sq ft. Shri. The Golden Cove will also house 20 Special Needs girls in three exclusive floors with hostel rooms, Activity Centre and Caregiver station.
